Astera Legal advised Sparkasse Rhein-Nahe as well as Volksbank eG – Die Gestalterbank, as joint arrangers, on the financing of the acquisition of the Midoco Group by VR Equitypartner GmbH, funds advised by BIP Capital Partners as co-investor and the management.

The Midoco Group specialises in the development of ERP/Midoffice Software for the international travel industry to optimise the efficiency of holiday and business travel through automation and connection to booking systems. With its leading cloud-based software solutions, travel worth more than EUR 13 billion is sold in Germany every year. The Midoco Group's customers include, for example, TUI, DER and DER Business Travel, Lufthansa City Center and ABB.

Sparkasse Rhein-Nahe and Volksbank eG – Die Gestalterbank is regularly advised by Astera Legal in connection with acquisition financing.
